Steve Wheeler thanks Rotarian Pidge Morgan for her presentation to Club members about her trips to Tanzania and a book to be donated in her name to the Burnt Chimney Elementary School Library. Photos of the facilities and children benefiting for Rotary Grants and other donations was incredible. Although the Tanzanian government provides free education, many children cannot attend because they can’t afford the required uniform(s), school supplies or the family needs the child to help care for their animal, etc. Pidge also provided gorgeous photos of animals she has encountered while traversing the Serengeti. Lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, impalas, various forms of hoofed animals, birds, etc. created an outstanding presentation.
