At Cooper’s Cove, Roger Henderson put a Rotary sticker on the new 550 gallon cistern, which captures rainwater off Doug Horne’s new shed. This in turn feeds into Doug’s 1,100 gallon underground cistern. A good rain refills the cistern quickly, so the water situation in the Giving Garden is greatly improved, and has allowed Doug to install more drip irrigation lines. This Rotary investment will pay dividends for many years to come.
