The Rotary Club of Smith Mountain Lake held its annual Texas Hold-em tournament on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Hot Shots. The benefit raised $6,000 for (4) $1,500 scholarships for local high school students.
We had 64 players led by our top three winners: Eddie Sparks (1st), Andy Williams (2nd), and Dave Gresham (3rd).
Nick Mastorakis won our 50/50 drawing. The weather was perfect and a good time was had by all. We thank all the club Rotarians and friends of Rotary that donated their time to help with this event. A very special thanks to Charlene Jones and Don Bull.
